Medium: Sculpture and Photographs

Finding a way to render tangibility towards the subject pulled me in this direction.

Self-portraits are not merely an exploration of body or form, but a projection of infinite realities.
A self-portrait reflects how ‘self’ has undergone changes induced by time as well as the aspirations of being seen. I was interested in utilizing the idea of being frozen in time as one of my methodologies. The existence of a sculpture outside of time, how freezing stops time and prevents a memory to change.

Images yellow over time, lose their colour whereas a sculpture requires external force and modification for change. It is also an attempt to use the physical form as a canvas on to which are daubed the brush strokes of life.
