I made casts to render tangibility to the subject. It was my way to crystallize or freeze memories or traces of them. But when I wanted to try working with video with the cast, I was keen on documenting a slow decay of the sculpture symbolizing the gradual withering of a memory.

‘Erasure’ as a form/visual technique wherein the told, the effaced and the untold together build the narrative and aesthetics of erasure.
